Rey Caney
Reinaldo Hierrezuelo La O, known professionally as Rey Caney, was a Cuban singer, guitarist, and tresero. Born in Santiago de Cuba as the youngest of 11 siblings, he led Cuarteto Patría for some time; this famous group is now led by Eliades Ochoa. In the middle 1950s, he took over Compay Segundo's place in the duo Los Compadres, as "Duo Los Compadres" they recorded for several record labels including Panart and Seeco, with the latter he also recorded as Rey Caney in New York City in 1960. The other partner being his elder brother Lorenzo Hierrezuelo. He and his brother sang together for thirty years. He also sang and played with many other groups, and finally came back to Santiago de Cuba to lead the Vieja Trova Santiaguera, one of the top groups in Cuba's second city. He also worked with his sister Caridad Hierrezuelo, a singer of guaracha style.

Andi Muhammad Ghalib was an Indonesian Military officer, politician, and diplomat. He served as the Attorney General of Indonesia from 1998 to 1999 within the Development Reform Cabinet of President B. J. Habibie. Ghalib resigned as Attorney General in June 1999 amid a corruption scandal.

Zekarias Yohannes was an Eritrean Catholic bishop. He was born in Adigenú. He was ordained as a priest of Asmara on 2 June 1949, and was appointed both Auxiliary Bishop of Asmara and Titular Bishop of Barca on 29 January 1981. He was appointed Bishop of Asmara on 17 July 1984, a position he held until his retirement on 25 June 2001. Through much of his career he would have been considered an Ethiopian clergyman.
Eugeniusz Geno Malkowski
Eugeniusz Geno Małkowski was a Polish painter. Małkowski was a professor of contemporary art at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, founder of artistic groups and associations throughout Poland, organizer of modern art exhibitions, and popularizer of art. He was known for his speed painting happenings in which he invited people to paint together. In 2005, in Bełchatów, he beat the Guinness World Record for the 24-hour-long-painting performance.
