Violet Louise Archer was a Canadian composer, teacher, pianist, organist, and percussionist. Born Violet Balestreri in Montreal, Quebec, in 1913, her family changed their name to Archer in 1940. She died in Ottawa on 21 of February 2000.

Vladimir Zuykov was a Russian film animator, artist, and illustrator. He became an Honored Artist of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic in 1989.

Walter Weidauer was a German politician. He was the "lord mayor" of Dresden during the most intensive period of the city's rebuilding, between 1946 and 1958.

Cao Văn Viên was one of only two, South Vietnamese 4 star Army Generals in the history of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He rose to the position of Chairman of the South Vietnamese Joint General Staff. Considered one of "the most gifted" of South Vietnam's military leaders, he was previously called an "absolute key figure" and one of "the most important Vietnamese military leaders" in the U.S.-led fighting during the Vietnam War.
