Jean-Luc Vilmouth was a French sculptor. He was born on 5 March 1952 at Creutzwald and died on the 19 December 2015 in Taipei. He taught at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Jacques Navadic was a Broadcasting editor and journalist who joined Radio Luxembourg in 1955 as Director of information a post in which he stayed in until 1984, between 1975 and 1981 he was Programme Director before becoming President of RTL in 1984. He was born in Lille.

Kyogon Hagiyama was a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Himi, Toyama and graduate of Ritsumeikan University, he was elected to the assembly of Toyama Prefecture for the first time in 1971. From 1979 to 1986 he ran four times for seats in the House of Representatives, albeit unsuccessfully. He was elected for the first time in 1990.

Tomas Gösta Tranströmer was a Swedish poet, psychologist and translator. His poems captured the long Swedish winters, the rhythm of the seasons and the palpable, atmospheric beauty of nature. Tranströmer's work is also characterized by a sense of mystery and wonder underlying the routine of everyday life, a quality which often gives his poems a religious dimension. He has been described as a Christian poet.
