Gustaf Vilhelm "Gösta" Carlsson was a Swedish cyclist. He competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics and won bronze medals in the individual and team road races.

Carmen Margarita Zapata often referred to as "The First Lady of the Hispanic Theater" was an American actress best known for her role in the PBS bilingual children's program Villa Alegre. Zapata is also the co-founder and director of the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts in Los Angeles. Zapata took an active part in the Chicano movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Zapata was born in New York City to Julio Zapata, a Mexican immigrant, and Ramona Roca, an Argentine immigrant.

Karl Litschi was a Swiss professional road bicycle racer. He was both a cyclo-cross cyclist and a road race cyclist, become Swiss national champion in both disciplines. In the 1939 Tour de France, he won one stage. In the same year he was the Swiss National Road Race champion.

Antônio de Castro Mayer was a Brazilian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. A Traditionalist Catholic and ally of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, he was Bishop of Campos from 1949 until his resignation in 1981.
