Patrick Henry Winston was an American computer scientist and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Winston was director of the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 1972 to 1997, succeeding Marvin Minsky, who left to help found the MIT Media Lab. Winston was succeeded as director by Rodney Brooks.

Yuko Kobayashi is a Japanese actress, voice actress and narrator, currently affiliated with 81 Produce and married to voice actor Mitsuaki Hoshino.

Clodoaldo Silva is a Brazilian swimmer. He competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, winning three silver medals and one bronze. He competed again at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, where he set four world records, five Paralympic records, and won six gold medals and one silver. He also represented Brazil at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Paralympics, and lit the Paralympic cauldron at the 2016 Summer Paralympics opening ceremony.

James Carl Inkanish, Jr., known professionally as Jimmy Carl Black, was a drummer and vocalist for The Mothers of Invention.

Sheikh Kafumba Konneh was a Liberian Muslim leader, prominent peace activist and member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Liberia, which was founded in 2005. He died in Tope Village, Gardnersville, Monrovia in 2015.

Claire Supiot is a French swimmer. She competed in the women's 200 metre butterfly at the 1988 Summer Olympics and won silver medal in the 400 m freestyle event at the 1987 Mediterranean Games.

Philippe Gaumont was a French professional road racing cyclist. He earned a bronze medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics, 100 km team time trial. In 1997 he won the Belgian classic Gent–Wevelgem and he was twice individual pursuit French national champion, in 2000 and 2002. In 2004, Gaumont quit professional cycling and later ran a café in Amiens.
