Paul Porel
Paul Porel, né Désiré Paul Parfouru, was a French actor, director and theatre manager. He was for many years closely associated with the Théâtre de l'Odéon in Paris, where he was first an actor, and then stage director, and, from December 1884 to May 1892, general director. The Odéon was at that time ranked as the second French theatre, after the Comédie Française.

Paul Telfer is a Scottish actor. He portrays the role of Xander Kiriakis on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives, for which he was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in May 2020.

Pierre Chanal was a French soldier and suspected serial killer. He was convicted of the rape and kidnapping of a young man, Balázs Falvay, whom he picked up hitchhiking in 1988. He received a ten-year sentence for the attack, and was released in 1995 on probation. He was accused of murdering three of eight young men who disappeared in northeastern France between 1980 and 1987. One of his alleged victims was Trevor O'Keeffe. Chanal committed suicide in prison in 2003 while on trial.
