Daniel Richard McBride is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director. He starred in the HBO television series Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones, the first two of which he co-created with frequent collaborator Jody Hill. Ride remains the youngest American astronaut to have traveled to space, having done so at the age of 32. After flying twice on the Orbiter Challenger, she left NASA in 1987.
