Felix Arnold Edward Pirani was a British theoretical physicist specialising in gravitational physics and general relativity. Pirani and Hermann Bondi wrote a series of articles that established the existence of plane wave solutions for gravitational waves based on general relativity.

Gerasimos "Makis" Dendrinos was a Greek professional basketball player and basketball coach. He was a 1.80 m (5'11") tall point guard. His nickname as a player was "Buddha".

Gottfried Schatz was a Swiss-Austrian biochemist.

Luc Brewaeys was a Belgian composer, conductor, pianist and recording producer at the VRT. He studied composition with André Laporte in Brussels, with Franco Donatoni in Siena (Italy) and with Brian Ferneyhough in Darmstadt (Germany).

Sheikh Abdul Munem Abu Zant was a Jordanian Muslim scholar and politician. He was member of the House of Representatives between 1989 and 1997 for the Islamic Action Front. He was an opponent of the Israel–Jordan peace treaty and a supporter of Hamas. Abu Zant frequently criticized the Western world and especially the United States and Israel. He was also critical of moderate Islamic regimes in the Middle East.
