Christopher Donald Jackson was a Canadian organist, harpsichordist and choral conductor. He is best known as a specialist in the performance of Renaissance music, and as the co-founder and long time conductor of the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal.

Robert Lewis Burns Jr. was an American drummer in the original line-up of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Tariq Aziz was Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister (1979–2003) and Foreign Minister (1983–1991) and a close advisor of President Saddam Hussein. Their association began in the 1950s when both were activists for the then-banned Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party. He was both an Arab nationalist and an ethnic Assyrian, and a member of the Chaldean Catholic Church.

Francesco Rosi was an Italian film director. His film The Mattei Affair won the Palme d'Or at the 1972 Cannes Film Festival. Rosi's films, especially those of the 1960s and 1970s, often appeared to have political messages. While the topics for his later films became less politically oriented and more angled toward literature, he continued to direct until 1997, his last film being the adaptation of Primo Levi's book, The Truce.

Karl Wlaschek was the founder of the Austrian supermarket chain Billa. According to the magazine "Trend", Mr. Wlaschek was one of the 5 richest Austrians. In 1996 he sold Billa for 1.1 billion euros.

Mikhail Ivanovich Burtsev was a Soviet sabre fencer. He won two gold medals and two silvers at three different Olympic Games.
