Christian Broda was an Austrian lawyer and politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria. He served as Minister of Justice of Austria from 1960 to 1966 in the third cabinet of Julius Raab, and again as Minister of Justice in the cabinet of Bruno Kreisky from 1970 to 1983. He was awarded the European Human Rights Prize of the Council of Europe in 1986.

Abba Kovner was a Jewish Hebrew and Yiddish poet, writer and partisan leader. In the Vilna Ghetto, his manifesto was the first time that a target of the Holocaust identified the German plan to murder all Jews. His attempt to organize a ghetto uprising failed, but he fled into the forest, became a Soviet partisan, and survived the war. After the war, Kovner led a secretive organization that aimed to take revenge for the Holocaust by killing six million Germans, but he was arrested by the British before he could carry out his plan. He made aliyah in 1947. Considered one of the greatest poets of modern Israel, he received the Israel Prize in 1970.

Koestono "Tonny" Koeswoyo was an Indonesian rock musician and leader of the music group Koes Plus. Koeswoyo played piano, guitar and keyboard.

François Perroux was a French economist. He was named Professor at the Collège de France, after having taught at the University of Lyon and the University of Paris. He founded the Institut de Sciences Economiques Appliquées in 1944. He was an outspoken supporter of corporatism.

Louis Victor Pierre Raymond de Broglie, 7th duc de Broglie was a French physicist and aristocrat who made groundbreaking contributions to quantum theory. In his 1924 PhD thesis, he postulated the wave nature of electrons and suggested that all matter has wave properties. This concept is known as the de Broglie hypothesis, an example of wave–particle duality, and forms a central part of the theory of quantum mechanics.

James Emil Coco was an American stage and screen actor. He was the recipient of a Primetime Emmy Award, a Drama Desk Award and three Obie Awards, as well as nominations for a Tony Award, an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. Coco is remembered for his supporting roles in the films Man of La Mancha (1972) and Only When I Laugh (1981).

Boris Sofronovich Kowerda, also known as Koverda, was a White émigré, monarchist, editor, and proofreader convicted of murdering Pyotr Voykov, Soviet ambassador to Poland in 1927 in Warsaw.

Turgut Demirağ was a Turkish film producer, director and screenwriter. He directed 16 films between 1947 and 1973. His 1964 film Love and Grudge was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival.
