William Ross Macdonald,, served as the 21st Lieutenant Governor of Ontario from 1968 to 1974, and as 22nd Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada from 1949 to 1953.

Wilfrid Mantin Cline was an American cinematographer. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Color Cinematography for the film Aloma of the South Seas, in which he shared with Karl Struss and William E. Snyder. He also was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Special and Visual Effects for his work on the television program My World and Welcome to It. Cline died in April 1976 in Balboa Island, California, at the age of 72. He was buried in Pacific View Memorial Park.

John Edward Taylor, OMI was an American Roman Catholic bishop. The first American-born bishop to head a European diocese, he was Bishop of Stockholm in Sweden from 1962 to 1976.

Ambrose Senyshyn, O.S.B.M, D.D., born in Staryi Sambir, Ukraine, was an Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. On July 10, 1958, he was appointed the first Bishop of Stamford. On August 14, 1961, he was appointed Archbishop of Philadelphia. He was succeeded by Joseph M. Schmondiuk as Bishop of Stamford and as Archbishop of Philadelphia.
