Constance Foore "Connee" Boswell was an American female vocalist born in Kansas City but raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. With sisters Martha and Helvetia "Vet", she performed in the 1920s and 1930s as the trio The Boswell Sisters. They started as instrumentalists but became a highly influential singing group during this via their recordings and film and television appearances

Paul René Gauguin
Paul René Gauguin was a Norwegian painter, graphical artist, sculptor, book illustrator and scenographer. He was born in Copenhagen, and was a son of Pola Gauguin, and grandson of Paul Gauguin. He is particularly known for his coloured woodcuts. Among his book illustrations are books by Inger Hagerup, and he made stage design for various theatres.
Jeanne Toussaint
Jeanne Toussaint (1887–1976) was a Belgian-born French jeweller and fashion designer who exerted considerable influence on jewellery design after Louis Cartier appointed her Director of Fine Jewellery in 1933. She is remembered in particular for her panther designs which first appeared as a decoration for a Cartier watch in 1914 and became the theme of several creations for the Duchess of Windsor, including an onyx bracelet in 1952. Toussaint also specialized in creations inspired by the jewellery of the Moghuls and the Maharajas.
