Duke Nobusuke Takatsukasa , son of Hiromichi, was a Japanese politician of the Meiji period (1868–1912) who served as a member of House of Peers in the Diet of Japan. Takatsukasa Nobuhiro was his brother, and Toshimichi was his son.

Ernest Bloch was a Swiss-born American composer. Bloch was a preeminent artist in his day, and left a lasting legacy. He is recognized as one of the greatest Swiss composers in history. As well as producing musical scores, Bloch had an academic career that culminated in his recognition as Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley in 1952.

Robert Roth
Robert Roth was a Swiss wrestler who won a gold medal in the freestyle heavyweight class at the 1920 Summer Olympics. Roth was a national champion in schwingen, Swiss national wrestling, in 1919 and 1921. Between 1922 and 1927 he competed as professional, but than returned to amateurs and won the national title in 1928 and 1931. His younger brothers Hans and Fritz were also Olympic wrestlers.
