He had previously played the first fourteen years of his career with the Anaheim Ducks, serving as an alternate captain during his final six seasons with the team. He has also played for the Dallas Stars.

Giulia Diletta Leotta is an Italian television presenter from Catania, Sicily. Leotta currently presents the Serie A broadcasts for DAZN since the 2018–2019 season. Earlier, she had presented Serie B games on Sky Sport (Italy) with Gianluca Di Marzio and Luca Marchegiani. From April to August of 2018, Leotta worked alongside Aída Yéspica as the host of 105 Take Away, a program of Radio 105 Network. Leotta hosted with Francesco Facchinetti the 2018 edition of Miss Italia that was aired by La7 and won by Carlotta Maggiorana. In 2020, Leotta co-presented the 70th annual edition of the Sanremo Music Festival.

Rümeysa Kadak is a Turkish politician and a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Elected in 2018, she represents Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, in the Turkish Parliament. Kadak is the youngest MP in Turkey and Asia, and the second youngest MP in the world.

Kitanoumi Toshimitsu , born Toshimitsu Obata , was a Japanese professional sumo wrestler. He was the dominant wrestler in the sport during the 1970s. Kitanoumi was promoted to yokozuna at the age 21, becoming the youngest ever to achieve sumo's top rank. He won 24 tournament championships during his career and was one of a series of truly great yokozuna who came from Hokkaido, the largest and northernmost prefecture of Japan. At the time of his death he still held the records for most tournaments at yokozuna (63) and most bouts won as a yokozuna (670), but they have since been surpassed. Following his retirement in 1985 he established the Kitanoumi stable. He was chairman of the Japan Sumo Association from 2002 until 2008, and again from 2012 until his death.
