Alexandre-Dominique Denuelle
Alexandre-Dominique Denuelle, a French decorative painter and architect, was born in Paris in 1818. He studied under Delaroche, and afterwards served on the Commission for Historical Monuments. He died at Florence in 1879. He was largely engaged in mural paintings for churches, and specimens of his art will be found in the Abbey of St. Denis, in St. Paul at Nîmes, St. Polycarp at Lyons, the Oratory at Birmingham, the Church of the Celestines at Avignon, and in Strassburg Cathedral.
Claude Victor-Perrin, Duc de Belluno
Claude-Victor Perrin, Duke of Belluno was a French military commander who served during the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. He was made a Marshal of the Empire in 1807 by Emperor Napoleon I.
François Varillon
François Varillon (1905–1978) was a French Jesuit and theologian. He was also a writer of some significance. He entered the Society of Jesus, as a novitiate, at 22 and was ordained in 1937. He won the Grand prix catholique de littérature in 1974 for L’humilité de Dieu.

André Lespagnol was a French politician and professor. He held an Agrégation in history and first taught in Quebec before heading to the University of Rennes 2, focusing on the history of Saint-Malo. He was President of the University of Rennes 2 from 1991 to 1996 before becoming Rector of the Academy of Reims, then Créteil. In 2004, he was elected Vice-President of the Regional Council of Brittany, serving until 2010.
