List of Famous people born in Finland

Toni Hallio is the former drummer for and one of the founding members of melodic death metal band Norther. He left the band in October 2005 to pursue other interests. However, he still recorded the drums for Norther's Till Death Unites Us instead of the band's current drummer Heikki Saari.

Tania Weber is a retired Finnish actress, best known for her many roles in 1950s Italian films.

Petteri Taalas is the Secretary-general of the World Meteorological Organization, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Appointed in 2015 by the World Meteorological Congress, the supreme body of the Organization, he took up the four-year Secretary-General term on 1 January 2016, and was re-elected to a second four-year term on 13 June 2019. He was director general of the Finnish Meteorological Institute from 2002 to 2005 and 2007 to 2015.

Kalevi Hämäläinen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He won the 50 km event at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley. He was born in Juva.

Heidi Parviainen is a Finnish professionally educated classical lyric soprano and a singing teacher. She is best known from her cinematic metal band Dark Sarah, and as the former lead singer of Finnish symphonic metal band Amberian Dawn. Before working with Amberian Dawn, she played keyboards and provided background vocals for a band called Iconofear.

Olli Herman Kosunen, also known as H. Olliver Twisted is a Finnish singer who has played in the Swedish glam metal band Crashdïet. Twisted is currently a member of the Finnish glam metal band, Reckless Love.

Jaska Raatikainen is a Finnish musician, he is best known as the former drummer and co-founder of the band Children of Bodom from 1993 until his departure in 2019. He is currently in the project called Mercury Circle.
