Dino Tavarone is an Italian-Canadian actor most prominent in the Cinema of Quebec. He is most noted for his role as mafia boss Giuseppe Scarfo in the television series Omertà, and his performance in Manon Briand's film 2 Seconds , for which he received a Jutra Award nomination for Best Actor at the 1st Jutra Awards in 1999.

Akiko Kurabayashi is a member of the Japanese House of Councillors and member of the Japanese Communist Party. She was a former nurse. She has previously served on the Kyoto Prefectural Assembly, to which she was elected in 1994, and on the Kyoto City Assembly, to which she served five terms, starting with her election to the assembly in 1995. Kurabayashi was elected to her position in the National Diet in 2013.

In 1908 he set a new Italian hour record, which he held for six years.
