Margaret Fortier Delisle is a politician in Quebec, Canada. She was a member of the National Assembly (MNA) in the National Assembly of Quebec for the constituency of Jean-Talon. She was first elected in 1994, and sat as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party. She was named Minister of Youth Protection and Rehabilitation on February 18, 2005. She is a graduate of Université Laval, and worked as a teacher before entering politics. She is the sister of former Conservative Senator Michael Fortier.

Estia Joseph Eichten, is an American theoretical physicist, of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). He received his Ph.D. in 1972 from the MIT Center for Theoretical Physics, where he was a student of Roman Jackiw's, and was Associate Professor of Physics at Harvard before joining the Fermilab Theoretical Physics Department in 1982.

Nicholas Herbert Stern, Baron Stern of Brentford, is a British economist and academic. He is IG Patel Professor of Economics and Government and Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics (LSE), and 2010 Professor of Collège de France. From 2013–2017, he was President of the British Academy.

Janet Kagan was an American author. Her works include two science fiction novels and two science fiction collections, plus numerous science fiction and fantasy short stories that appeared in publications such as Analog Science Fiction and Fact and Asimov's Science Fiction. Her story "The Nutcracker Coup" was nominated for both the Hugo Award for Best Novelette and the Nebula Award for Best Novelette, winning the Hugo.

Joseph Deiss is a Swiss economist and politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 1999 to 2006. A member of the Christian Democratic People's Party (CVP/PDC), he first headed the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (1999–2002) before transferring to the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (2003–2006). Deiss was elected President of the United Nations General Assembly for its 65th session in 2010.
