John Joseph Myers was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Peoria between 1990 and 2001, Ecclesiastical Superior of Turks and Caicos from 2001 to 2016 and Archbishop of Newark during the same period.

Elizabeth Holtzman is an American attorney and politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives. A Democrat, she represented New York's 16th congressional district for four terms. She was the first woman to hold the office of New York City Comptroller, and the first woman to serve as District Attorney of Kings County. In 1980, Holtzman was the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, losing to Republican nominee Al D'Amato.

John Curtis Thomas was an American track and field athlete who set several world records in the high jump using the straddle technique. As a youth, he earned the Eagle Scout award. At the age of 17, while a freshman at Boston University, Thomas became the first man to clear 7 feet indoors. He subsequently pushed the world indoor record to 7'1½", and broke the world outdoor record three times, with a career best jump of 7'3¾" in 1960 while just 20 years old.

Michael Kenny was a British artist. Best known as a sculptor, he also made important reliefs and drawings as well as sculptural constructions in wood and metal.
