Henri "Rik" Hoevenaers was a Belgian road cyclist who won three medals at the 1924 Summer Olympics, including a silver in the individual time trial, a silver in the team time trial, and a bronze in the team pursuit. He also won the road race at the 1925 World Championships. Hoevenaers turned professional in 1926. His father Josef and son Jos were also professional cyclists.

James C. Strouse is an American screenwriter and film director. He wrote and made his directorial debut with Grace Is Gone (2007), starring John Cusack.

Giuseppe Di Donna - in religious Giuseppe della Vergine - was an Italian Roman Catholic prelate and professed member from the Trinitarian Order who served as the Bishop of Andria from 1940 until his death. Di Donna entered the Trinitarian ranks in his late childhood and studied for the priesthood in Rome while later working for over a decade in the missions in Madagascar for evangelization purposes. But in 1940 he was summoned back to his homeland when news broke that Pope Pius XII appointed him as a bishop. Di Donna carried out his duties with meticulous care to ensure the growth of his flock; he promoted the Azione Cattolica movement and advised his priests to hold frequent lessons in catechesis for people so as to have a better understanding of the faith.

Elena Lunda was an Italian actress. She was the daughter of Vittorio Lunda Gondola (Gundulić) from Ragusa/Dubrovnik. She appeared in 35 films between 1919 and 1928.

Subbayya Sivasankaranarayana Pillai (1901–1950) was an Indian mathematician specialising in number theory. His contribution to Waring's problem was described in 1950 by K. S. Chandrasekharan as "almost certainly his best piece of work and one of the very best achievements in Indian Mathematics since Ramanujan".
