Ryotaro Tanose is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Gojō, Nara and graduate of Nagoya Institute of Technology, he had served in the city assembly of Gojo for two terms since 1973 and the assembly of Nara Prefecture for two terms since 1983. After an unsuccessful run in 1990, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993.

Dmitri Andreyevich Vasilenko was an Olympic gymnast who competed for Russia in the 1996 Olympic Games. He won gold medal in the team competition. He was an alternate to the 2000 Olympic team.

Sir Sze-yuen Chung, was a Hong Kong politician who served as a Senior Member of the Executive and Legislative Councils during the 1970s and 1980s in the colonial period and the first Non-official Convenor of the Executive Council in the SAR period. For his seniority in the Hong Kong political arena, he was nicknamed the "Great Sir" and "Godfather of Hong Kong politics".

Paul Löwinger was an Austrian actor, theatre manager and writer. While still a child, he performed on his parents' stage, the Löwinger Bühne. In 1938 they were probably the first theatre ensemble which performed in front of television cameras. The same year he married Liesl Meinhard. The couple had three children: Guggi Löwinger, Sissy Löwinger and Paul Löwinger. He took over the Löwinger Bühne in 1947. Löwinger wrote numerous comedies and well known plays. His plays were often broadcast on television. He also took part in numerous German and Austrian films, such as "Zyankali" (1947) or "Kaiserball" (1956) and became internationally popular. His daughter Sissy managed the family-owned theatre until her death on September 25, 2011. Löwinger was buried at the Wiener Zentralfriedhof.

Fabio Enrique Parra Pinto is a retired Colombian road racing cyclist. Parra was successful as an amateur in Colombia, winning the Novatos classification for new riders or riders riding their first edition of the race, and finishing 14th in the 1979 Vuelta a Colombia and then the General classification in the 1981 Vuelta a Colombia. He also competed in the individual road race event at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
