Domenico Losurdo
Domenico Losurdo was an Italian Marxist philosopher and historian. A polarising figure, praised by some for his criticism of liberalism in practice and criticised by others for relativising Joseph Stalin, Losurdo was best known for his critique of anti-communism, colonialism, imperialism, the European tradition of liberalism and the concept of totalitarianism. Losurdo also articulated a distinction between political-moral and naturalistic despecification.
Henry V, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg
Henry V of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, called the Younger,, a member of the House of Welf, was Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and ruling Prince of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from 1514 until his death. The last Catholic of the Welf princes, he was known for the large number of wars in which he was involved and for the long-standing affair with his mistress Eva von Trott.

Julia, Princess of Battenberg
Julia, Princess of Battenberg was the wife of Prince Alexander of Hesse and by Rhine, the third son of Louis II, Grand Duke of Hesse. The daughter of a Polish general of German descent, she was not of princely origin. She became a lady-in-waiting to Marie of Hesse, wife of the future Tsar Alexander II and a sister of Prince Alexander of Hesse and by Rhine, whom she married, having met him in the course of her duties. The marriage of social unequals was deemed morganatic, but the Duke of Hesse gave her her own title of nobility as Princess of Battenberg. She was the mother of Alexander, Prince of Bulgaria, and is an ancestor of Charles, Prince of Wales, heir to the British throne, and to the current generations of the Spanish royal family.
