Chen Zhaodi
Chen Zhaodi was a Chinese volleyball player, coach, and military general. She was a key member of the Chinese national team that won the 1981 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup and the 1982 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. After retiring as a player in 1983, she served as assistant coach and later team manager for the national team, and as head coach for the national women's junior team. She later became Director of the Culture and Sports Bureau of the People's Liberation Army General Political Department and was awarded the rank of major general, making her the only Chinese sportsperson to become a military general. Chen suffered from cancer and died in 2013 at the age of 57.
Chen Xiaoxu
Chen Xiaoxu, Buddhism Dharma name Miao Zhen (妙真) in the period of been a bhikkhuni, was a Chinese actress, famous for her role as Lin Daiyu in 1987 TV series Dream of the Red Chamber. And since February 23, 2007, she became a bhikkhuni in Baiguoxinglong Temple, Changchun (长春百国兴隆寺). She died of breast cancer on May 13, 2007.
Chen Zhen
Chen Zhen, courtesy name Xiaoqi, was an official of the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period of China. When Liu Bei became Governor of Jing Province, Chen Zhen was hired to serve as a local officer and was stationed in various commanderies. When Liu Bei entered Yi Province, Chen Zhen remained in his service, where he progressed in rank and soon became Prefect of the Masters of Writing at the capital. When Sun Quan declared himself emperor and established the state of Eastern Wu in 229, Liu Shan sent Chen Zhen to offer his congratulations and to form an alliance, which he did, and they also drew out their respective states' boundaries.
