John Ningark was a territorial level politician in Nunavut Canada. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories and Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.

Irving Fields was an American pianist and lounge music artist who was born in New York City. Some of his most noteworthy compositions include "Miami Beach Rhumba"; "Managua, Nicaragua"; and "Chantez, Chantez," covered by Dinah Shore in 1957. From November 1, 1954 to January 3, 1955, he and his orchestra appeared on the DuMont Television Network series The Ilona Massey Show, hosted by Ilona Massey.

George Samuel Konik was a Canadian American professional ice hockey player.

Virgilio "Baby" A. Dalupan was a Filipino basketball coach and player. Dubbed "The Maestro", Dalupan was best known for his lengthy coaching tenure with the Crispa Redmanizers and garnered a career total of 52 basketball championships.

Melvin Lazarus was an American cartoonist, best known as the creator of two comic strips, Miss Peach (1957–2002) and Momma (1970–2016). Additionally, he wrote two novels. For his comic strip Pauline McPeril, he used the pseudonym Fulton, which is also the name of a character in his first novel, The Boss Is Crazy, Too.

Miriam Eshkol was the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol. In her years as the Prime Minister's wife (1964–1969) she was closely followed by the public and press, leading numerous public organization in promotion of public causes. Following Levi Eshkol's passing she founded and chaired Yad Levi Eshkol and served as its chairwoman from 1970 to 2008.

Roger Denis Parent was a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan in the 2011 election. He represented the electoral district of Saskatoon Meewasin as a member of the Saskatchewan Party caucus. Parent died of cancer at age 63, just hours after his diagnosis was made public on November 29, 2016 and within two weeks of being diagnosed.

Simon "Si" Ramo was an American engineer, businessman, and author. He led development of microwave and missile technology and is sometimes known as the father of the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). He also developed General Electric's electron microscope. He played prominent roles in the formation of two Fortune 500 companies, Ramo-Wooldridge and Bunker-Ramo.
