Dalian Robert Atkinson was an English footballer who played as a striker. During his club football career, he played in England for Ipswich Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa and Manchester City, winning the Football League Cup at Villa in 1994. He also played for many teams abroad; in Spain for Real Sociedad, in France for Metz, in Turkey for Fenerbahçe, in Saudi Arabia for Al-Ittihad, and in South Korea for Daejeon Citizen and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

Tarık Akan was a Turkish film actor and producer, who started his activity in the 1970s.

Daniel Francis Haggerty was an American actor who is best known for playing the title role in the film and television series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams.

Michel Rocard was a French politician and a member of the Socialist Party (PS). He served as Prime Minister under François Mitterrand from 1988 to 1991, during which he created the Revenu minimum d'insertion (RMI), a social minimum welfare program for indigents, and achieved the Matignon Accords regarding the status of New Caledonia. He was a member of the European Parliament, and was strongly involved in European policies until 2009. In 2007, he joined a Commission under the authority of Nicolas Sarkozy's Minister of Education, Xavier Darcos.

Burhan Muzaffar Wani was a commander of the militant organisation Hizbul Mujahideen, active in Kashmir. He wielded massive popularity among the local populace through social media presence, and helped in conveying a more youth-oriented image of militancy in Kashmir, recruiting numerous foot-soldiers to the cause.

Abdur Razzak Khan was an Indian film actor appearing in Hindi films. Khan was noted for supporting and comic roles. He was known for his comic role of Manikchand in the 1999 Abbas-Mustan directed film Baadshah, as Ninja Chacha in the 1999 film Hello Brother, and as Takkar Pehelwan in Akhiyon Se Goli Maare. His noted last film, Welcome M1LL10NS was released in 2018.

Afeni Shakur Davis was a political activist and former member of the Black Panther party. She was the mother of the American rapper and actor Tupac Shakur.

Stacey Ruth Castor was an American convicted murderer from Weedsport, New York. In 2009, she was found guilty of intentionally poisoning her then-husband David Castor with antifreeze in 2005 and attempting to murder her daughter, Ashley Wallace, with crushed pills mixed in with vodka, orange juice, and Sprite in 2007. In addition, she is suspected of having murdered her first husband, Michael Wallace, in 2000; his grave lay next to David Castor's until David's remains were disinterred in 2016 and buried elsewhere by his son. The story made national news, and Castor was subsequently named "The Black Widow" by media outlets. A special two-hour edition of ABC's 20/20 aired on April 24, 2009, and again on February 8, 2019, to provide the full story of the Castor case.

Major General Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster,, was a British landowner, businessman, philanthropist, Territorial Army general, and peer. He was the son of Robert Grosvenor, 5th Duke of Westminster, and Viola Lyttelton. He was Chairman of the property company Grosvenor Group. In the first ever edition of The Sunday Times Rich List, published in 1989, he was ranked as the second richest person in the United Kingdom, with a fortune of £3.2 billion with only The Queen above him.

Kōji Wada was a Japanese pop singer. He was best known for performing theme songs for several installments of the Digimon anime television series, including his recording debut in 1999 with his first and most famous single, "Butter-Fly", the theme song of the anime Digimon Adventure. He was signed with the Lantis recording label. His nickname is "Immortal Butterfly Anisong Singer" (不死蝶のアニソンシンガー).
