Elaine Stritch was an American actress and singer, known for her work on Broadway. She made her professional stage debut in 1944 and appeared in numerous stage plays, musicals, feature films and television series. She was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1995.
Chen Kuei-miao
Chen Kuei-miao was a Taiwanese politician who co-founded New Party, a small pro-China political party, in 1993. Chen served as a member of the Legislative Yuan from 1990 to 1998, as well as a KMT acting Mayor of Tainan City in 1985. Chen was one of many legislators to be implicated in a wide-ranging insider trading scandal that also affected Andrew Oung, among others.

María Josefa Wonenburger Planells was a Galician mathematician who did research in the United States and Canada. She is known for her work on group theory. She was the first Spaniard to obtain a Fulbright scholarship for doctoral studies in mathematics.
