Clarissa Theresa Philomena Aileen Mary Josephine Agnes Elsie Trilby Louise Esmerelda Dickson Wright was an English celebrity cook, television personality, writer, businesswoman, and former barrister. She was best known as one of the Two Fat Ladies, with Jennifer Paterson, in the television cooking programme. She was an accredited cricket umpire and one of only two women to become a Guild Butcher.

Yoshiki Sasai was a stem cell biologist. He developed methods to guide human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into forming brain cortex, eyes, and other organs in tissue culture. Sasai was one of the founding leaders of the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (CDB) in Kobe, a premier research institute for biology in Japan and Director of the Laboratory for Organogenesis and Neurogenesis at the research institute RIKEN.

Andriy Leonidovych Husin was a professional Ukrainian football player and coach. He frequently played in the Ukraine national football team, and was one of Ukraine's most capped players. He was a member of their squad at the 2006 World Cup.

Micheline Dax was a French film and stage actress and singer. She did the voice to Ursula in the French dub in Disney's "The Little Mermaid".

Edith Flagg was an American fashion designer, fashion industry executive, and philanthropist. She was the first designer to import polyester as a fashion textile to America. In her later life, Flagg became known for her re-occurring role on the Bravo television program Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles with her grandson Josh Flagg.

Keizō Kanie was a Japanese actor. He won the award for best supporting actor at the 1st Yokohama Film Festival for Angel Guts: Red Classroom and Jūkyūsai no Chizu and at the 12th Yokohama Film Festival for Ware ni utsu yoi ari and Boku to, bokura no natsu. He died on March 30, 2014, of stomach cancer at the age of 69.

Matilde Pérez Cerda was a Chilean visual artist who specialised in kinetic art. She was a pioneer of modern and kinetic art in Chile. Her best known public pieces include Túnel Cinético in 1970, and el Friso, which was originally constructed at the Centro Comercial Apumanque in 1982, but is now located at the University of Talca.

Samuel Klein was a Polish-Brazilian business magnate and philanthropist who founded the Casas Bahia chain of department stores in Brazil, building them into the top retailer in the country. This along with his tendency to use massive warehouses for his goods, including the largest single warehouse in South America, led him to be known in the 1990s as the "Sam Walton of Brazil".

Brittany Lauren Maynard was an American activist with terminal cancer who decided that she would end her own life "when the time seemed right." She was an advocate for the legalization of assisted death.
