Tom James Brocker, known as Tom Brock, was an American soul singer, born in Austin Texas. Brock worked with Barry White on the 20th Century Records label in the 1970s. He wrote songs for Gloria Scott's 1974 album What Am I Gonna Do?, including "A Case Of Too Much Love Makin". That same year he also released his one and only album, I Love You More And More, which included a highly popular title track. The album was produced by White and Gene Page. The song "There's Nothing In This World That Can Stop Me From Loving You" was later sampled by producer Just Blaze for the single "Girls, Girls, Girls" on Jay-Z's album The Blueprint in 2001. This led to renewed interest in Brock, and in 2003 the album was re-released on CD. The song "I Love You More And More" was later sampled by producer Minnesota for the single "The Panties" on Mos Def/Yasiin Bey's album The New Danger in 2004.

María de los Dolores Olmedo y Patiño Suarez was a Mexican businesswoman, philanthropist and musician, better known for her friendship with Mexican painters Frida Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera; she appeared on some of his paintings. Following Rivera's death in 1957, she and Rivera's daughter Guadalupe asked then president Adolfo López Mateos to consider Rivera and José Clemente Orozco's paintings historical monuments.

Hikaru Natsumi was a Japanese writer and sex worker. She is best known for her blog The Sexual Adventures of Hikaru Natsumi (菜摘ひかるの性的冒険), which was published as a book in 1998.

Carmen Dorothy Blanche Silvera was a British comic actress. Born in Canada of Spanish descent, she moved to Coventry, England, with her family when she was a child. She appeared on television regularly in the 1960s, and achieved mainstream fame in the 1980s with her starring role in the British television programme, 'Allo 'Allo! as Edith Artois.

Angelo Anthony Buono Jr. was an American serial killer, kidnapper and rapist, who together with his adopted cousin Kenneth Bianchi were known as the Hillside Stranglers, and were convicted of killing ten young women in Los Angeles, California between October 1977 and February 1978.

His fifth and last wife, Carmen "Tita" Cervera, is a former Miss Spain titleholder.

Jacques Émile Massu was a French general who fought in World War II, the First Indochina War, the Algerian War and the Suez crisis. He led French troops in the Battle of Algiers, first supporting and later denouncing their use of torture.

Robert Ivan Nichols, alias Joseph Newton Chandler III, was a formerly unidentified American identity thief who committed suicide in Eastlake, Ohio, in July 2002. After his death, investigators were unable to locate his family and discovered that he had stolen the identity of an eight-year-old boy who was killed in a car crash in Texas in 1945.
