Henry Blight "Toby" Halicki was an American director, writer, stunt driver, actor, and filmmaker. Halicki directed the 1974 film Gone in 60 Seconds as well as producing and starring in several other action films. He was killed in an accident while filming Gone in 60 Seconds 2 in 1989. His widow, Denice Shakarian Halicki, produced a remake of Gone in 60 Seconds in 2000 with Jerry Bruckheimer.

Robert Oubron was a French racing cyclist. He rode in the 1937 Tour de France.

Roberto Emilio Arias, known as "Tito", was a Panamanian international lawyer, diplomat and journalist who was the husband of ballerina Dame Margot Fonteyn. Arias was from a prominent Panamanian political family, whose members had reached the Presidency four times; amongst them his father Harmodio Arias.

Ernest John Primeau was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Manchester from 1960 to 1974.

Anderson's first Oscar nomination was for his first film in 1933, A Farewell to Arms. A frequent collaborator with Cecil B. DeMille - he worked on Cleopatra (1934), The Buccaneer (1938) and North West Mounted Police (1940) - as well as such other classics as Holiday Inn (1942), Road to Utopia (1946), Son of Paleface (1952) and Will Penny (1967).
