Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler was a German-born, art collector, and one of the most notable French art dealers of the 20th century. He became prominent as an art gallery owner in Paris beginning in 1907 and was among the first champions of Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and the Cubist movement in art.
Liselotte Welskopf-Henrich
Liselotte Welskopf-Henrich was a German novelist and historian of the classical period. As a writer she concerned herself with two distinct cultures: that of Ancient Greece and that of the "North American Indians". As an East German academic she was an influential authority on Ancient Greece. Away from the university she wrote novels concerned with the North American Indians which became classics of East German children's literature.
Yelena Alexandrovna Kuzmina
Yelena Aleksandrovna Kuzmina was a Soviet actress. She appeared in 20 films between 1929 and 1978. She was the recipient of three Stalin Prizes and was named a People's Artist of Russia in 1950. Kuzmina's spouses included filmmakers Boris Barnet and Mikhail Romm. Her memoirs were published in 1989.
