Ernest Miller was an American cinematographer who was nominated for an Academy Award at the 1939 Oscars for Best Cinematography for the film Army Girl, sharing the nomination with Harry J. Wild. He had nearly 350 film and television credits to his name, mostly Westerns, including some of the early episodes of Gunsmoke. Location work on Army Girl was done primarily at the Iverson Movie Ranch in Chatsworth, Calif., where Miller cut his teeth in B-Westerns and became one of the most prolific -- and one of the best -- of the site's shooters during the course of his career. His camera work at Iverson became identifiable for Miller's trademark use of the site's charismatic sandstone rock features as framing devices, as he incorporated the giant boulders into the artistry of the outdoor action shots in ways that few cinematographers could match.

Edwin Eugene Lockhart was a Canadian American character actor, singer, and playwright. He also wrote the lyrics to a number of popular songs. He became a United States citizen in 1939.

Eugen Jensen (1871–1957) was an Austrian stage and film actor. He worked frequently in the Austrian and German cinemas during the silent era in supporting roles in films such as The Love of Jeanne Ney (1927). Following the Anchluss of 1938, Jensen emigrated to Switzerland. He was married to the actresses Alice Lach and Rosa Montani.

Ernest George Harcourt Williams was an English actor and director. After early experience in touring companies he established himself as a character actor and director in the West End. From 1929 to 1934 he was director of The Old Vic theatre company; among the actors he recruited were John Gielgud and Ralph Richardson. After directing some fifty plays he resigned the directorship of the Old Vic but continued to appear in the company's productions throughout the rest of his career. He appeared in thirty cinema and television roles during his later years.

Hubrecht (Huib) Hoste was a Belgian architect, designer and urban planner. He is considered the pioneer of modern architecture in Belgium.
