Frank Porter Graham was an American educator and political activist. A professor of history, he was elected President of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1930, and he later became the first President of the consolidated University of North Carolina system.

Frank Lewis was an American wrestler and olympic champion. He competed at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, where he received a gold medal in freestyle welterweight.

Daniel Edward Pilarczyk was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Cincinnati from 1982 to 2009.

Francis John Spence was a Canadian Roman Catholic prelate. Spence served as the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston from 1982 until his retirement in 2002.

Andrée Vaurabourg, also known as Andrée Vaurabourg-Honegger, was a French pianist and teacher. She was the wife of Swiss-French composer Arthur Honegger (1892–1955), whom she met at the Paris Conservatoire in 1916. Honegger married her in 1926 on the condition that they live in separate apartments because he required solitude for composing. They lived apart for the duration of their marriage, with the exception of living together in 1935 during which Honegger cared for her during her recuperation from an automobile accident, which lasted less than a year, and the last year of Honegger's life, when he could no longer live alone. They had one daughter, Pascale, born in 1932.
