Patrick Grandperret was a French film director, screenwriter and producer. His film Murderers was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

Patricia Quintana Fernández, was a Mexican chef, writer, businesswoman and professor. She was a recognized international cook and expert in Mexican gastronomy.

Fredrik Meyer was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics, and an officer in the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

Jens Beutel was a German judge and politician. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he served as Oberbürgermeister (mayor) of Mainz, the state capital of Rheinland-Pfalz, from 1997 to 2011. During his tenure, the city improved especially by building projects, including the new synagogue, and new parks.

Georg Konrad Morgen was an SS judge and lawyer who investigated crimes committed in Nazi concentration camps. He rose to the rank of SS-Sturmbannführer (major). After the war, Morgen served as witness at several anti-Nazi trials and continued his legal career in Frankfurt.
