Alain Krivine is a French Trotskyist leader. He is a member of the Ligue communiste révolutionnaire (LCR), which is the French section of the reunified Fourth International. He was a member of the LCR's political bureau until March 2006, when he resigned from that committee. He was a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004.

Ronan Pensec is a former French professional road bicycle racer. He was professional from 1985 to 1997.

Hamza El Din was an Egyptian composer, oud player, tar player, and vocalist. El Din was born in southern Egypt and studied the music of his native region Nubia, near the Sudanese border. He subsequently lived and studied in Italy, Japan and the United States. El Din collaborated with a wide variety of musical performers, including Sandy Bull, the Kronos Quartet and the Grateful Dead.

Antoine Schnapper was a French art historian on art of the 17th and the 18th century. A student of André Chastel, he organised many retrospectives on artists of that period, notably one at the Louvre in 1989 on Jacques-Louis David to commemorate the bicentenary of the French Revolution. He taught at the Paris-Sorbonne University.

Chiyonokuni Toshiki is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Iga, Mie. Making his professional debut in May 2006, he reached the top makuuchi division for the first time in January 2012. He has a highest rank of maegashira 1, but he has also been restricted by injuries, falling to the sandanme division in 2015 before staging a comeback, and then once again having serious injury in 2019 sending him down the ranks, before making another comeback. He is a member of Kokonoe stable.
