Jacques Mégret
Hallgeir Brenden
Hallgeir Brenden was a Norwegian cross-country skier and steeplechase runner. He competed in various skiing events at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 WInter Olympics and won two individual gold medals in 1952 and 1956 and two silver medals in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1952 and 1960. He also won three events at the Holmenkollen ski festival: 18 km in 1952 and 15 km in 1956 and 1963. He received the Egebergs Ærespris in 1952 and the Holmenkollen medal in 1955.

Jean Coulthard
Jean Coulthard, was a Canadian composer and music educator. She was one of a trio of women composers who dominated Western Canadian music in the twentieth century: Coulthard, Barbara Pentland, and Violet Archer. All three died within weeks of each other in 2000. Her own work might be loosely termed "prematurely neo-Romantic", as the orthodox serialists who dominated academic musical life in North America during the 1950s and 1960s had little use for her. Some of her well-known compositions include Cradle Song, Threnody, Canadian Fantasy, Ballade "A Winter's Tale" and her opera Return of the Native.

Henry Egerton was a British clergyman from the Egerton family. He was Bishop of Hereford between 1723 and his death in 1746.
Lincoln Wolfenstein
Lincoln Wolfenstein was an American particle physicist who studied the weak interaction. Wolfenstein was born in 1923 and obtained his PhD in 1949 from the University of Chicago. He retired from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000 after being a faculty member for 52 years. Despite being retired, he continued to come into work nearly every day.

Pavlos Bakoyannis
Pavlos Bakoyannis was a liberal Greek politician who was well known for his broadcasts against the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 on Bayerische Rundfunk radio. He was shot and killed in the front entrance of his office in 1989 by members of the Terrorist Organization 17 November (17N).
