Herbert Giersch was a German economist. He was one of the initial members of the German Council of Economic Experts in 1964, serving on the council until 1970, and also was president of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy 1969–1989. Giersch was considered the most influential German economist during the chancellorships of Willy Brandt, Helmut Schmidt, and Helmut Kohl.

Günter Kuhnke was a Korvettenkapitän with the Kriegsmarine during World War II and later a Konteradmiral with the Bundesmarine. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

Karl-Heinz Marbach was a German officer who served in the Kriegsmarine, the navy of Nazi Germany, during World War II, and later in the West German Navy. From 1950 to 1959 he was Principal Agent of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency-funded network with the codename LCCASSOCK, which was one of CIA's Psychological warfare efforts directed against Eastern Germany.

Erich Rudolf Alexander Regener was a German physicist known primarily for the design and construction of instruments to measure cosmic ray intensity at various altitudes. He is also known for predicting a 2.8 K cosmic background radiation, for the invention of the scintillation counter which contributed to the discovery of the structure of the atom, for his calculation of the charge of an electron and for his early work on atmospheric ozone. He is also credited with the first use of rockets for scientific research.

Loda Halama was a Polish dancer and actress. Principal dancer of Grand Theatre, Warsaw (1934–1936). She appeared in eleven films between 1927 and 1950.

Axel Ullrich is a German cancer researcher and has been the director of the molecular biology department at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany since 1988. This department's research has primarily focused on signal transduction. Ullrich has received Hamdan Award for Medical Research Excellence, awarded by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2008 and Ullrich and his team received the Wolf Prize in 2010.

Tadeusz Pikus is a Polish Roman Catholic prelate who was Bishop of Drohiczyn from 2014 to 2019. He was previously Auxiliary Bishop of Warsaw from 1999 to 2014,
