He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB) and for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He was an MLB All-Star in 2012.

He also played a role in the creation of Rockstar's Red Dead franchise. He later founded the company Game Republic, and then created the hit mobile games Dragon Hunter and Monster Strike for Mixi. Several franchises he helped create are among the highest-grossing video game franchises of all time, including Street Fighter II, Monster Strike and Red Dead.

Jens Böhrnsen is a German politician of the SPD. From 2005 to 2015, he has served as the President of the Senate and Mayor of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, that is, the head of government of the city-state Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. From 1 November 2009 until 31 October 2010 he was President of the Bundesrat. As such, he was acting head of state of Germany from the resignation of President Horst Köhler on 31 May 2010 until the election of Christian Wulff on 30 June 2010. Böhrnsen resigned in 2015 after his party sustained losses in state parliament election.

Myroslava Gongadze is a Ukrainian journalist and political activist currently living in the United States. Her husband, journalist Georgiy Gongadze, was abducted and murdered in 2000. Since then she has been a prominent advocate for freedom of the press and protection of the safety of reporters in Ukraine, and has continued to work for justice in the case of her husband's murder.

Susann Beucke is a German sailor who competes in the 49er FX category. Along with Tina Lutz, she won a gold medal at the 2017 and 2020 49er & 49er FX European Championships. In their third attempt Beucke and Lutz qualified to represent Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo,where they won a Silver medal. It’s been the best result for German sailing since 21 years.
