Bettany Mary Hughes is an English historian, author and broadcaster, specialising in classical history. Her published books cover classical antiquity and myth, and the history of Istanbul. She is active in efforts to encourage the teaching of the classics in UK state schools. Hughes was appointed OBE in 2019.

Valmik Thapar is an Indian naturalist, conservationist and writer. He is the author of 14 books and several articles, and has produced a range of programmes for television. Today he is one of India's most respected wildlife experts and conservationists, having produced and narrated documentaries on India's natural habitat for such media as the BBC, Animal Planet, Discovery and National Geographic.

Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Ayala was a politician, a leader of a socialist movement in Colombia, a former Education Minister (1940) and Labor Minister (1943–1944), mayor of Bogotá (1936) and one of the most charismatic leaders of the Liberal Party. He was assassinated during his second presidential campaign in 1948, setting off the Bogotazo  and leading to a violent period of political unrest in Colombian history known as La Violencia.

Eric Radford is a Canadian pair skater. With partner Meagan Duhamel, he is a two-time world champion, a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, a 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the team event, a 2018 Olympic bronze medallist in the pairs event, a two-time Four Continents champion, the 2014–15 Grand Prix Final champion, and a seven-time Canadian national champion (2012–18). He is the first openly gay man to have won a gold medal at any Winter Olympics.

Jack Bushnell Hanna is a retired American zookeeper and a former director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. “Jungle Jack” was director of the zoo from 1978 to 1992, and is viewed as largely responsible for elevating its quality and reputation. Robert Charbel Farah Maksoud is a Canadian-born Colombian professional tennis player. Currently, he is ranked No. 1 in the world in men's doubles. Farah has a long-standing doubles partnership with countryman Juan Sebastián Cabal, with whom he has won 15 ATP titles, including the 2019 Wimbledon title, 2019 US Open title and two Italian Open titles. He currently resides in Bogota, Colombia.
