Omid R. Kordestani is an Iranian-American businessman of Kurdish origin who has been the Executive Chairman at Twitter since October 2015. He was previously a Senior Vice President, the Chief Business Officer, and most recently a special advisor to the CEO and founders at Google from July 2014 to October 2015 and was a director of Vodafone from March 2013 to October 2014. Kordestani had also previously been at Google from May 1999 to April 2009, reaching the position of Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Field Operations.

Haddadi was the first Iranian to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA) when he debuted with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008. He'd also continue playing with the Grizzlies there until 2013, where he'd get traded to first the Toronto Raptors and then the Phoenix Suns before returning to Iran and then play in China soon afterwards in the next months.

Hassan Khosrowshahi, is an Iranian-Canadian business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. He founded Future Shop, a Canadian consumer electronics chain store that was acquired by Best Buy in 2001 for c.$580 million. He currently invests via his family office, Persis Holdings Ltd.

Salman the Persian or Salman al-Farsi, born Roozbeh, was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the first Persian who converted to Islam. During some of his later meetings with the other Sahabah, he was referred to by the kunya Abu Abdullah. He is credited with the suggestion of digging a trench around Medina, a Sasanian military technique, when it was attacked by Mecca in the Battle of the Trench. He was raised as a Zoroastrian, then attracted to Christianity, and then converted to Islam after meeting Prophet Muhammad in the city of Yathrib, which later became Medina. According to some traditions, he was appointed as the governor of Al-Mada'in in Iraq. According to popular tradition, Muhammad considered Salman as part of his household. He was a renowned follower of Ali ibn Abi Talib after the death of Muhammad.

Habib (Habibollah) Elghanian was a prominent Iranian Jewish businessman and philanthropist who served as the president of the Tehran Jewish Society and acted as the symbolic head of the Iranian Jewish community in the 1970s.
