Fernando "Nando" Seler Parrado Dolgay is one of the sixteen Uruguayan survivors of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, which crashed in the Andes mountains on 13 October 1972. After spending two months trapped in the mountains with the other crash survivors, he, along with Roberto Canessa, climbed through the Andes mountains over a 10-day period to find help. His efforts, supported in various ways by the entire group, have been recognized through books and other media. He was portrayed by Ethan Hawke in the 1993 feature film Alive: Miracle in The Andes.

Frank Joseph Kelley, is an American politician who served as the 50th Attorney General of the U.S. state of Michigan. His 37-year term of office, from 1961 to 1999, made him both the youngest and oldest Attorney General in the state's history, and led to his nickname as the "Eternal General." He was the longest serving state attorney general in United States history, until Tom Miller of Iowa surpassed his longevity record in 2019, although Kelley still holds the record for longest continuous tenure as an attorney general.

Ruben Edera Ecleo Sr. was a Filipino cult leader who founded the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association, Incorporated in 1965, and the mayor of the Municipality of Dinagat, Surigao del Norte from 1963 up to 1987. Married to Glenda Buray Ecleo, they had eight children: Ruben Jr., Glorigen, Gracelyn, Benglen, Allan I, Allan II, Geraldine and Gwendolyn.
