Karl Amadeus Hartmann was a German composer. Sometimes described as the greatest German symphonist of the 20th century, he is now largely overlooked, particularly in English-speaking countries.

Sergio Samitier Samitier is a Spanish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Movistar Team. He has previously ridden for Lizarte, and Euskadi–Murias. In August 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Vuelta a España. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Giro d'Italia.

Jonathan Alexander Prince is an American actor, director, screenwriter and movie producer.

Raymond Sommer was a French motor racing driver. He raced both before and after WWII with some success, particularly in endurance racing. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in both 1932 and 1933, and although he did not reach the finishing line in any subsequent appearance at the Le Mans, he did lead each event until 1938. Sommer was also competitive at the highest level in Grand Prix motor racing, but did not win a race. He won the French Grand Prix in 1936, but the event that year was run as a sports car race. After racing resumed in the late 1940s, Sommer again won a number of sports car and minor Grand Prix events, and finished in fourth place in the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, the second round of the newly-instituted Formula One World Drivers' Championship. He was killed toward the end of 1950, when his car overturned during a race at the Circuit de Cadours.

Burton Gordon Malkiel is an American economist and writer, most famous for his classic finance book A Random Walk Down Wall Street. He is a leading proponent of the efficient-market hypothesis, which contends that prices of publicly traded assets reflect all publicly available information, although he has also pointed out that some markets are evidently inefficient, exhibiting signs of non-random walk.

Isaac Edward "Ike" Austin is an American former professional basketball player who played for several different teams in the National Basketball Association between 1991 and 2002. He is the uncle of former Baylor University basketball player Isaiah Austin.

Lolo Letalu Matalasi is an American Samoan politician, educator, and businessman. He served as the 57th Governor of American Samoa, from 2013 to 2021.
