Annabelle Janet Ewing is a Scottish politician, lawyer and former Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs in the Scottish Government. She is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Cowdenbeath constituency. She was formerly the Minister for Youth and Women's Employment 2014−16. She is a former Member of Parliament for Perth 2001−05 and served as Member of the Scottish Parliament for Mid Scotland and Fife between 2011 and 2016.

Alain Frédéric Carpentier M.D. Ph.D. is a French surgeon whom the President of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery calls the father of modern mitral valve repair. He is the recipient of the 2007 Lasker Prize.

Martin Skotnický is a Slovak ice dancing coach and former competitor for Czechoslovakia. With his sister, Diana Skotnická, he is the 1970 Winter Universiade champion and a five-time Czechoslovak national champion (1970–74). They placed sixth at the 1973 European Championships.

Michael Linhart is an Austrian diplomat and politician who was appointed as the new Austrian Ambassador at Berlin on 15 December 2021. Before that, he served as minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Austria in the Schallenberg government from 11 October to 6 December 2021, ambassador of the Republic of Austria to France from 2018 to 2021 and Secretary-General at the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2018.

Raman Ghosh is an Indian sportsman who represented India in several badminton tournaments in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a member of the Indian badminton team, which won the 1975 Thomas Cup qualification by defeating Pakistan at Lahore. He received the Arjuna award for badminton in 1974.
