Don Grusin is an American jazz keyboardist, composer, and record producer. He is the younger brother of Dave Grusin.

Nicolai Vladimirovich Krylov is a Russian mathematician specializing in partial differential equations, particularly stochastic partial differential equations and diffusion processes. Krylov studied at Lomonosov University, where he in 1966 under E. B. Dynkin attained a doctoral candidate title and in 1973 a Russian doctoral degree. He taught from 1966 to 1990 at the Lomonosov University and is since 1990 a professor at the University of Minnesota. At the beginning of his career he, in collaboration with Dynkin, worked on nonlinear stochastic control theory, making advances in the study of convex, nonlinear partial equations of 2nd order, which were examined with stochastic methods. This led to the Evans-Krylov theory, for which he received with Lawrence C. Evans in 2004 the Leroy P. Steele Prize of the American Mathematical Society. They proved the second order differentiability of the solutions of convex, completely nonlinear, second order elliptical partial differential equations and thus the existence of "classical solutions". He was in 1978 at Helsinki and in 1986 at Berkeley an Invited Speaker for the ICM. He received the Humboldt Research Award in 2001. In 1993 he was elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (1993). He should not be confused with the mathematician Nikolay M. Krylov.

Nicole Hassler was a French figure skater. She was the 1963 World bronze medalist, the 1963 European silver medalist and the 1964-1966 European bronze medalist. She represented France at the 1960 Winter Olympics, where she placed 11th and at the 1964 Winter Olympics, where she placed 4th.

Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Zamil was an industrial engineer, whose work in industry and government was important to the industrial development of Saudi Arabia. As the original chief executive of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), as Minister of Industry and Electricity, and through his family's Zamil Group Holding Company, he was instrumental in creating a nationally based, profitable, high-tech industrial enterprise in Saudi Arabia. Al Zamil encouraged careful expansion with strong partners on a basis of sound technology in a wide variety of areas. Zamil Group, which now employs more than 12,000 people in 60 countries, is involved in diverse sectors including general construction, paints, plastics, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, and port management. He was awarded the King Abdul Aziz Medal, 1984 and the Richard J. Bolte Sr. Award for supporting industries in 2015.

Elizabeth Ann Eckford is one of the Little Rock Nine, a group of African-American students who, in 1957, were the first black students ever to attend classes at the previously all-white Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. The integration came as a result of Brown v. Board of Education. Eckford's public ordeal was captured by press photographers on the morning of September 4, 1957, after she was prevented from entering the school by the Arkansas National Guard. A dramatic snapshot by Johnny Jenkins of the United Press (UP) showed the young girl being followed and threatened by an angry white mob; this and other photos of the day's startling events were circulated around the US and the world by the press.

Dorothy Hyman is a retired English sprinter. She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics in the 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 m events, winning three medals. She also won individual 100 m gold and 200 m silver at the 1962 European Championships in Belgrade and, representing England, completed the 100 yd/220 yd sprint double at the 1962 Commonwealth Games.
