Abdul-Bari Awad, best known by his nickname of "Kid Galahad", is a British professional boxer who held the European, British, and Commonwealth super-bantamweight titles between 2013 and 2015. His ring name was chosen by trainer Brendan Ingle after a character played by Elvis Presley in the 1962 film of the same name. From 2014 to 2016, Galahad served a ban from boxing due to doping.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, also called Mullah Baradar Akhund or Mullah Brother, is a co-founder of the Taliban in Afghanistan. He was the deputy of Mullah Mohammed Omar. Baradar was captured in Pakistan by a team of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officers in February 2010 and was released on 24 October 2018 at the request of the United States.

Abdul Rashid Dostum is an Afghan politician and Marshal in the Afghan National Army who has served as Vice President of Afghanistan from 2014 to 2020. Abdul Hakim Sani Brown born 6 March 1999 is a Japanese athlete specialising in sprinting events. Sani Brown has a Japanese mother and a Ghanaian father. Sani Brown won the 100 metres at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Athletics setting a championship record of 10.28 (−0.4) in the final.

Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz al-Sudais better known as Abdulrahman Al-Sudais is the imam of the Grand Mosque Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia; the president of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques; a renowned Qāriʾ ; and was the Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award's "Islamic Personality Of the Year" in 2005. Al-Sudais has preached Islam's opposition to "explosions and terrorism", and has called for peaceful inter-faith dialogue, but also been sharply criticized for vilifying non-Muslims and especially Jews in his sermons. He has denounced the treatment of Palestinians by Israelite settlers and the state of Israel, and called for more aid to be sent to Palestinians. He has also been noted for identifying women's un-Islamic behavior as in part responsible for the winter 2006 drought in Saudi Arabia. In 2016, he delivered the very important Hajj sermon to a multitude of pilgrims gathered at Arafat after prayers.
