Tom Drake was an American actor. Drake made films starting in 1940 and continuing until the mid-1970s, and also made TV acting appearances.

Andrée Clément (1918–1954) was a French film actress. Her husband was killed in 1940 during the Battle of France. She herself died from tuberculosis in Paris in 1954 at the age of thirty five.

Ange Le Strat was a French racing cyclist. He rode in the 1947 and 1949 Tour de France.

Sir Frederic Mackarness Bennett was a British journalist, barrister and Conservative politician who served as a Member of Parliament. He was appointed a Privy Counsellor in 1985, and a Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London in 1990. He was also Lord of the Manor of Mawddwy in Wales.

Avery Robert Dulles was a Jesuit priest, theologian and cardinal of the Catholic Church. Dulles served on the faculty of Woodstock College from 1960 to 1974, of the Catholic University of America from 1974 to 1988, and as the Laurence J. McGinley Professor of Religion and Society at Fordham University from 1988 to 2008. He was an internationally-known author and lecturer.

Elmore James was an American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and bandleader. He was known as "King of the Slide Guitar" and was noted for his use of loud amplification and his stirring voice. For his contributions to music, James was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
