Margaret Lindsay was an American film actress. Her time as a Warner Bros. contract player during the 1930s was particularly productive. She was noted for her supporting work in successful films of the 1930s and 1940s such as Jezebel (1938) and Scarlet Street (1945) and her leading roles in lower-budgeted B movie films such as the Ellery Queen series at Columbia in the early 1940s. Critics regard her portrayal of Nathaniel Hawthorne's Hepzibah Pyncheon in the 1940 film adaptation of The House of the Seven Gables as Lindsay's standout career role.

Abdul Rahman Yahya Al-Eryani was the President of the Yemen Arab Republic from 5 November 1967 to 13 June 1974. Originally a leader of the Free Yemeni Movement (Al-Ahrar) opposition group during the time of the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen, al-Eryani served as Minister of Religious Endowments under North Yemen's first republican government and later became the only civilian politician to have led Northern Yemen. He was eventually overthrown by Ibrahim al-Hamdi and died in exile.

Jean Ville, also known under the names Jean-André Ville et André Ville, born 24 June 1910 in Marseille, died 22 January 1989 in Blois, was a French mathematician. He is known for having proved an extension of von Neumman's minimax theorem, as well as contributions in the fields of statistics and economics. He was one of the pioneers of the theory of martingales.

John Nesbitt was an actor, narrator, announcer, producer and screenwriter. Nesbitt was best known as the narrator of the MGM series Passing Parade.

Josep Bartolí i Guiu (1910-1995) was a Spanish painter, cartoonist and writer. He fought in the Spanish civil war, and published a collection of drawings from his time as a refugee in a French internment camp. He later travelled extensively, including to Mexico and the United States where he worked as a set designer and artist. In the 1950s he was a member of the 10th Street Group of artists, and in 1973 he won the Mark Rothko prize. His time in France was portrayed in the César Award winning 2020 film Josep, directed by French cartoonist Aurel.
