Eva Saxl (1921–2002) was a self-taught manufacturer of insulin and an advocate for people with diabetes. Saxl was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Piero De Benedictis is an Italian-born Argentine singer/songwriter who also holds Colombian citizenship.

Johnny Reed McKinzie Jr., better known by his stage name Jay Rock, is an American rapper and songwriter from Watts, California. Rock signed to the independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) in 2005. In 2007, alongside TDE, Rock secured a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records and later Asylum Records, but mergers fell through and Rock ended up leaving the label shortly after. He then signed with Tech N9ne's Strange Music, in a joint-venture record deal. Apart from his solo career, Rock is also known for being a member of the hip hop supergroup Black Hippy, alongside fellow West Coast rappers and TDE label-mates Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. In 2019, Jay Rock received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for "King's Dead".

Suzann Pettersen is a retired Norwegian professional golfer. She played mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour, and was also a member of the Ladies European Tour. Her career best world ranking was second and she held that position several times, most recently from August 2011 until February 2012. She retired on 15 September 2019 after holing the winning putt for the European team at the 2019 Solheim Cup, notwithstanding that she had been away from golf for almost 20 months on maternity leave prior to the event.

William "Bashin' Bill" Barilko was a Canadian ice hockey player who played his entire National Hockey League career for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Gavin James Creel is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Creel is best known for his work in musical theatre. He has received a Tony Award for his performance as Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly!, and two other nominations, for originating the role of Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and for his performance as Claude in Hair. He has received a Laurence Olivier Award for originating the West End version of Elder Price in The Book of Mormon at Prince of Wales Theatre and has played the role of Elder Price in the US National Tour and on Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. He played Steven Kodaly in Roundabout Theatre Company's production of She Loves Me, which premiered in spring 2016.

Sharon la Hechicera, also known by the nicknames La Reina de la Tecnocumbia, La Diva, and La Diva Criolla, was an Ecuadorian television actress and presenter, music producer, advertising and public relations consultant, lingerie designer, and singer known for her promotion and performing of the tecnocumbia genre. She was one of the most popular celebrities in Ecuador during her lifetime.

Melvyn Douglas was an American actor. Douglas came to prominence in the 1930s as a suave leading man, perhaps best typified by his performance in the romantic comedy Ninotchka (1939) with Greta Garbo. Douglas later played mature and fatherly characters, as in his Academy Award–winning performances in Hud (1963) and Being There (1979) and his Academy Award–nominated performance in I Never Sang for My Father (1970). Douglas was one of 24 performers to win the Triple Crown of Acting. In the last few years of his life Douglas appeared in films with supernatural stories involving ghosts. Douglas appeared as "Senator Joseph Carmichael" in The Changeling in 1980 and Ghost Story in 1981 in his final completed film role.
