János Martonyi is a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1998 to 2002 and from 2010 to 2014. He is a member of the Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Union party. He was part of the Amato Group that unofficially drafted a new treaty for the European Union after the European Constitution was rejected by the French and Dutch voters.

Nouri Bouzid is a Tunisian film director and screenwriter. He has directed seven films between 1986 and 2006. His film Man of Ashes was screened in the Un Certain Regard section the 1986 Cannes Film Festival. Three years later, his film Golden Horseshoes was screened in the same section at the 1989 festival.

James Alix Michel, GCSK is a Seychellois politician who was President of Seychelles from 2004 to 2016. He previously served as Vice-President under his predecessor, France-Albert René, from 1996 to 2004. Michel was initially a teacher, but later he became involved in the archipelago's booming tourism industry and joined René's political party before independence in 1976.
