Émile Poilvé was a French wrestler who won the gold medal at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. France had to wait 72 years and Steeve Guenot at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to win another gold medal in wrestling. He also competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics and the 1932 Summer Olympics.

Bledar Sejko is an Albanian guitarist, composer, and singer who represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with his song "Identitet", which he performed with Adrian Lulgjuraj. According to Sejko, the song includes combined motives from Northern Albania and Chameria. He also appeared in the 2011 edition of the contest, performing alongside Aurela Gaçe in her song Feel the Passion.

Sue Cleaver is a British actress. She plays Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, a role which she has played since 2000. She also played Glenda, delivering baked goods in Victoria Wood's BBC comedy series, dinnerladies, which ran for two series from 1998 to 2000. She was covering for Denise Robertson as the agony aunt on ITV daytime programme This Morning until Robertson's death in 2016.

Thomas Jaeschke is an American volleyball player, member of the United States men's national volleyball team, bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games. At the professional club level, he currently plays in the Italian league for Allianz Milano.
