Mikhail Semyonovich Shchepkin was the most famous Russian Empire actor of the 19th century. He is considered the "father" of realist acting in Russia and, via the influence of his student, Glikeriya Fedotova, a major influence on the development of the 'system' of Konstantin Stanislavski. Shchepkin's significance to the Theatre of Russia is comparable to that of David Garrick to the English theatre.

Count Adam Gottlob Moltke was a Danish courtier, statesman and diplomat, and Favourite of Frederick V of Denmark. Moltke was born at Riesenhof in Mecklenburg. His son, Joachim Godske Moltke, and his grandson, Adam Wilhelm Moltke, later served as Prime Minister of Denmark.

Makan Konatè is a Malian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Malaysia Super League club Terengganu. Before joined Persebaya, he played for Liga 1 side Sriwijaya, after being released by Liga 1 club Persib Bandung and Malaysian club T-Team, the club decided not to extend his contract due to knee injury.

Maxim Vladimirovich Petrov is a Russian serial killer, convicted for the killing of 11 people in St Petersburg between 1999 and 2000. Petrov, nicknamed Doctor Death by the Russian media, was a practicing doctor who targeted patients from a local health center, killing them by lethal injection at their homes then robbing them.

Silvana Lima is a Brazilian professional surfer. She was born in Paracuru, Ceará, Brazil on 29 October 1984 and grew up in a snack-shack on the sand, owned by her parents. When she was seven years old, she fashioned a makeshift fin to a piece of wood and taught herself to surf. She got her first real surfboard at age 14.

Georgy Ketoyev is a Russian naturalized Armenian freestyle wrestler of Ossetian descent. He won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, beaten by Revaz Mindorashvili of Georgia whom Ketoev had previously beaten.
